The Sweet Spring Top
Sweet and simple, our delightful short sleeved style blouse, with elasticated neckline and sleeves, works well with skirts, loose trousers or jeans and either version would make a pretty and versatile addition to your wardrobe.
This project is ideal for stitchers who are beginners+ level wishing to further develop their sewing skills. You'll learn how to prepare, pin and cut your fabric (using an exclusive FASHIONSKOOL paper pattern in your chosen size) and how to finish seams neatly, turn hems and insert elastic. You must already be able to use a sewing machine and ideally have completed a beginners+ clothing project (ie, easy pyjamas or tote bag).
SUGGESTED FABRICS: light to medium weight (printed or plain) woven 100% cotton fabric.
FABRIC REQUIREMENTS: 112 cm width fabric (or wider) x 1 metre.
Choose from the following sizes and state your requirement when booking so that your pattern can be prepared for you:
Age 9/10, 11/12, 13/14, and 15/16.
All equipment, basic haberdashery and light refreshments are included. Please bring a packed lunch and slippers.
