The Semi-circular Skater-style Skirt
The 'Skater-style' skirt workshop always has great appeal as, not only is it one of the more simple clothing projects to make, it's a classic style and looks different in every print or fabric used so has seemingly endless possibilities.
This workshop is ideal for those who already know how to use a sewing machine, having completed at least one Beginners level project (i.e., easy-level pyjamas) and wish to further develop their machine-sewing skills and make their own clothes.
You’ll learn how to prepare, pin and cut your fabric (using an exclusive FASHIONSKOOL paper pattern in your chosen size) and how to finish seams neatly, turn hems and attach a separate elasticated waist casing.
Choose from the following sizes and state your size and length requirement when booking so that your pattern can be prepared for you: Age 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 or 15.
For this workshop you will need to provide your own fabric;
