Adult Beginners + Workshop
Learn to make your own stylish loose covers for an existing seat pad*, suitable for most chairs from dining chairs to sun-loungers. In this relaxed and enjoyable workshop you’ll learn to draft your own personal pattern, stitch a loose cover during the session (using either a zip or Velcro fastening), pick up a few new stitch techniques and leave with the confidence to continue to make many more from home.
Equipment, threads, pattern-making paper, and refreshments are all provided. Please bring your own (curtain- weight) cotton fabric, zip/ Velcro, foam seat pad. All details for fabric/haberdashery sourcing and quantities will be provided on booking. Please feel free to bring your own sewing machine if you have one.
