The Poet-Sleeve Blouse
Ready to update your wardrobe for the new season? The 'Poet Sleeved Blouse' is an exclusive FASHIONSKOOL pattern and is a romantically inspired version of our very popular spring/summer blouse, with gently elasticated neck-line and long full sleeves.
You'll learn how to prepare, pin and cut your fabric (using an exclusive FASHIONSKOOL paper pattern in your chosen size), how to finish seams neatly, turn hems and insert elastic into a casing. This Beginners+ workshop is ideal for those who can already use a sewing machine, having completed a beginners level workshop (i.e pyjamas) and are looking to further develop their sewing skills.
For this project you will need to provide your own fabric.
SUGGESTED FABRICS: light to medium weight 100% cotton (woven); printed or plain.
FABRIC LENGTH REQUIREMENTS:
112 cm+ width fabric x 1.30m for sizes up to age 13/14. For larger sizes you'll need 1.50m.
Choose from the following sizes and state your requirement when booking so that your pattern can be prepared for you:
Age 9/10, 11/12, 13/14, and 15/16.
All equipment, haberdashery and light refreshments are included, please bring a packed lunch.
