Adult Beginners Sewing Course
This short course of four sessions will inspire you to make many beautiful things for your home and well-received personal gifts for others:
Week 1: Envelope-style cushion. Week 2: Cooks Apron (see GALLERY) Week 3: Household Bag (pictured on main page). Week 4: Choose from a list of projects including peg bag, tea cosy, ironing board cover, oven mitts, bath hat and Christmas stocking.
All equipment, patterns, basic haberdashery and refreshments are provided. Please bring 2 metres of curtain weight cotton or cotton/linen fabric. Feel free to bring your sewing machine (and manual), if you have one. The first session will include a refreshers lesson on how to thread-up, use and maintain a sewing machine and problem-solve.
The aim of the course is to provide the confidence to enable you to eventually carry out your own sewing projects at home independently. Small groups of four allow plenty of individual attention enabling succesful projects.
Level: Adult beginners / beginners+

Time: 10 am - 1 pm
Cost: £90 (4 weeks, no session during the half-term break)
