THE PARIS DRESS

 

This rather special dress is perfect for sunny summer days; dress it up for a party or down for relaxed holidays.  An ideal workshop for those who have been sewing for some time, having previously completed several beginners+ clothing projects and are looking to further develop their machine-sewing skills.

 

You'll learn how to stitch darts, insert a zip, fully line a dress bodice, turn hems and neatly finish seams as well as picking up lots of brilliant sewing tips along the way.

 

You will need to provide your own fabric & zip:

112 cm width fabric X approx 2 metres*,

150 cm width fabric X approx 1.5 metres*.       

1 X 9"/23 cm matching concealed nylon zip.

 

Choose from the following sizes:

age 10, 11, 12, 13, 14 or 15.

 

*Exact fabric requirements will be confirmed on booking. 

Equipment, threads and light refreshments are all provided.

Please bring slippers/soft indoor shoes to wear and a packed lunch, weather permitting we'll have a picnic in the garden.
