 Teen's Sundress

Summer is finally here and our delightful teen's sundress will have you properly attired! Based on a vintage 90's pattern, it's a flattering, slim-fitting, empire-line style with narrow shoulder straps and a centre-back zip opening. Make yours in a cool cotton print and dress it up with sparkly sandals and pearls or down with trainers and a bucket hat for summer, then team it with a roll-neck, tights and chunky boots when the weather cools down.

This intermediate level workshop is suited to those who are already confident users of a sewing machine and who have started making their own clothes, completed more than one beginners+ level sewing project, and are ready to develop some new technical sewing skills including making bust darts, turning narrow straps, bagging-out facings, inserting a zip, and finishing their garment with a professional look.

Fabrics should be 100% cotton or cotton-rich, woven and in a medium weight. Fabric and zip length requirements given on booking.

Choose from the following sizes:

Teen's sizes: 4, 6, 8, 10, 12 and 14

Equipment, threads and light refreshments are all provided. Please bring fabric, a zip and slippers/soft indoor shoes to wear and a packed lunch, weather permitting, we'll be picnicking in the garden.
