The Spring Blouse
Meet our pretty spring blouse, with full sleeves to acknowledge the current romantic puffed-sleeve trend, which FASHIONSKOOL loves. The gently elasticated neckline and sleeves allow it to be cool even on the hottest of days whilst allowing a bit of room for growth. Plus, it's a versatile addition to your wardrobe as it works well with all skirt shapes, loose trousers, shorts or jeans.
This Beginners+ level project is ideal for relatively new stitchers wishing to further develop their sewing skills. You must already be able to use a sewing machine confidently and ideally have completed a beginners clothing project (i.e., easy-level pyjamas) or similar. You'll learn how to prepare, pin and cut your fabric (using an exclusive FASHIONSKOOL paper pattern in your chosen size) and how to finish seams neatly, turn hems and insert elastic. The addition of ribbon tied into a big bow is entirely optional (see below).
SUGGESTED FABRICS:
Printed or plain light to medium weight, woven 100% cotton fabric; lawn, poplin, chambray or linen. FABRIC REQUIREMENTS: 114 cm width fabric (or wider) x 1 metre length.
RIBBON (optional): 3cm wide double-faced satin ribbon X 1metre length.

Age 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 14, and 15.
All equipment, basic haberdashery and light refreshments are included. Please bring a packed lunch and slippers.
