This year it's all about the romantic puffed sleeve and FASHIONSKOOL's brand new workshop project ticks all the right boxes for our savvy trend-focused teens. This style is from my own self-drafted pattern archive from 1987 (see my original portfolio image above right!), which just goes to prove you should never throw your patterns away!

This gorgeously flattering top is made in cool woven cotton, it has a generously ruched and shorter length front with an elasticated neckline and front hem. The 'Juliet' style sleeves (hence this top's name) are generously puffed at the top and gathered into a semi-fitted, wrist-length lower sleeve.

Learn how to prepare, pin and cut your fabric using an exclusive FASHIONSKOOL paper pattern in a choice of two sizes, how to gather and fit a set-in sleeve, make neck facings, finish seams neatly, turn casings and hems and insert elastics. This intermediate level workshop is ideal for those who are confident users of a sewing machine, have completed several beginners+ level workshops and are wishing to further develop their sewing skills.

For this project you will need to provide your own fabric.
