Teen's Parachute Trousers
These voluminous pull-on trousers with authentic styling details contain plenty of new skills for those who have reached intermediate sewing level. They have roomy front pockets, self-fabric drawstrings in the waistband and hems, functional knee-tucks and a mock-fly detail, all of which fashion-conscious teens will happily welcome into their wardrobe and enjoy to sew. This intermediate level workshop is suited to those already confident to use a sewing machine who have been sewing for 1 year+ and who have previously completed a variety of clothing projects.
You'll learn how to prepare your fabric, pin, cut-out and stitch the trousers using an exclusive FASHIONSKOOL paper pattern provided in your chosen size and pick up lots of useful sewing tips whilst joining the pieces together using a sewing machine and finishing seams neatly with the opportunity of using an over locker.

For this workshop you will need to provide your own fabric in 100% woven cotton.
Constructed in plain or printed woven cotton; these trousers work brilliantly in cotton poplin, light to medium weight denim, linen (as shown), or cotton sateen. N.B.: When choosing a print please avoid 1-direction prints, obvious checks or horizontal stripes that will need matching as well as slippery polyester or man-made fibre fabrics.
Fabric length requirements are provided when booking.
Equipment, threads and light refreshments are all provided.
Please bring a packed lunch. Please also bring slippers/soft indoor shoes/grippy socks to wear.
