Cropped Party Top
This is a great project for those already confident in using a sewing machine, having previously completed a couple of beginners+ sewing projects and are looking to further develop their sewing skills.
This stunning cropped, semi-fitted and panelled style with shoulder straps and delicate fluted sleeves is made in a stretch woven cotton sateen and is exclusive to FASHIONSKOOL. In this intermediate level workshop you will learn to prepare your fabric before pinning and cutting out your top using a paper pattern in your selected size. Learn how to work with stretch woven fabrics, stitch panels together, make facings and turn and neaten a curved sleeve hem.
A selection of beautiful prints are available and provided for you or you may supply your own (please state when booking).
Choose from the following sizes, and state your requirement when booking so that your pattern can be prepared for you:
Age 10, Age 12, Age 14 or Age 16.
All equipment, threads and refreshments are included. Please feel free to bring your own sewing machine, if you are lucky enough to have one. (Please ensure that it is in good working order, and you are able to thread it yourself). Please bring a packed lunch; weather permitting we'll be picnicking in the garden.
