The Fashionskool Sewing Club
Our weekly after-school sewing club meets during term-time and is perfect for young aspiring fashionistas who are keen to learn real skills within a small group. There are lots of brilliantly inspirational projects to encourage creativity whilst building skills and confidence. Already able to use a sewing machine and ideally having completed at least one of our holiday workshop projects, you'll develop new machine and hand-sewing techniques as well as have the opportunity to try hand-knitting, textile printing and dying, up-cycling and fashion illustration in this club.
During each term there will be a variety of 1, 2 or 3-week projects including at least one clothing project working from an exclusive FASHIONSKOOL pattern (for which you'll need to provide your own fabric), along with lots of fun smaller sewing and textile projects. All materials will be provided for the smaller projects along with haberdashery and equipment for all classes.
Refreshments and all equipment is provided.
Skill level: Beginners/beginners+, primary school years 4-6
Date: Fridays 16th January - 27th March 2026 (no class on 20th Feb)
